Hi everyone, I am looking at rehoming my very loving and adorable 3 year old Pomeranian mix (short hair). This dog loves the affection of people and thrives in a loving environment with proper attention. My ideal requirements for his new family:

- He will be the only dog in the family (Sorry to multi-dog households but he much prefers the love of humans even though he gets along well with other dogs, but can be possessive of treats/toys. I think it is very stressful for him to feel like he needs to compete for attention so I prefer if he is the only dog.)
- A two person family that will not leave him at home for extended periods. Some hours is okay of course but he will not be happy being left alone daily from 9-5pm for example. He is very well behaved at home with you but will bark sometimes if left alone for a longer period. If both people are working full-time away from the house, it wouldn't work for me.
- A family for life. I need to ensure he is in good and loving hands and would be happy to stay in touch in his life. If you are not looking to keep him for the rest of his life, please consider another dog.
- Even though he loves small children when going for walks, he has not been raised with them and may feel the need to compete for attention or toys etc. or if they are too rough with him to get defensive. I think teenagers would be a better fit if you do have children.
I am asking a $200 rehoming fee only because it has been recommend for safety. Please message me if you think it's a good fit. Thank you for reading. I am not desperate to rehome him and very much love him as my best friend, so I will only do so if it's the perfect and right fit, otherwise I will continue to try to make it work despite my changing situation.
